Transneft resumes shipments in Novorossiysk as weather improves
MOSCOW, Apr 3 (PRIME) -- Russian oil pipeline monopoly Transneft has restarted pumping in the port of Novorossiysk as a storm which started on March 31 calmed, aide to the president of the company Igor Dyomin told reporters on Tuesday.
“A storm warning continues in Novorossiysk but the weather is improving and works corresponding to the weather have started today in the morning -- three product tankers and the current oil tanker have departed,” Dyomin said.
The other ports are operating in accordance with the schedule, a short storm in Kozmino has ended, the official said.
